Hundreds of school parties visit the Cathedral each year and so we are seeking volunteer Children’s Guides and Children’s Workshop Facilitators to assist with visits. Perhaps you are a prospective teacher or teaching assistant who would like to develop skills and experience for your future career? Or you may be a recently retired teacher who would like to continue working with children in a different environment? Our Education Volunteers help with visits on a flexible basis. There are no set hours, though most choose to assist with 1 or 2 visits a month. Our Education Volunteers find working with the children at the Cathedral both enjoyable and rewarding.
