For three weeks in November the Capture the Cathedral exhibition stood in the Jesus Chapel, presenting the four winning photographs alongside 21 other, specially selected entries. Visitors to the Cathedral were invited to play the judge and vote for their favourite: this proved a great success, with just under 400 votes collected! None were without their admirers, votes going to each and every piece on display. However the most popular by a clear margin, and taking the title of People’s Choice Winner, was Peter Fitchett’s ‘Light of the World’. Congratulations!
Thank you to all those who took part in Capture the Cathedral in its debut year, for helping to make the competition and exhibition such a success – we hope to re-launch the competition in the near future, so please keep a look-out for updates in 2013.
