Christmas Services

There are a number of Christmas services and events taking place this year. Please join us.

Blessing of the Crib and Children’s Nativity
Monday 24 December 2018 (12 noon)

Come along at 12 noon on Christmas Eve for the Blessing of the Crib and Children’s Nativity service, when we will sing some of the country’s favourite carols and the children will enact the Christmas story.

Families are very welcome!

 

Midnight Mass
Monday 24 December 2018 (11.30pm)

Join us at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve for our traditional Midnight Mass. The Bishop of Bolton will preside and Canon David Holgate will preach.

Please note that incense will be used during the service.

 

Christmas Day Eucharist
Tuesday 25 December 2018 (10.30am)

Join us on Christmas Day for our Sung Eucharist sung by the Cathedral Choir and celebrate with us the nativity of our Lord. Canon David Holgate will preside and the Bishop of Middleton will preach.
