Confirmation at the Cathedral

The Cathedral Confirmation Service with Bishop David will take place on Sunday 17 April. Adults and young people may be confirmed at this service and anyone wishing to be baptised would also be welcome.

The Preparation for adults will be a six week Pilgrim course on the Lord’s Prayer led by Canon David Holgate. It will be held on Saturday mornings between 10.30am and 12.30pm in the Cathedral Library or Refectory, starting with coffee and cake. This Pilgrim course will be an open one, and all are welcome to attend. If you wish to take part, please email David or leave a message for him to register your interest.

The Preparation for Children & Young People will be a full day event called “Living My Baptism” on a Saturday (date TBC once numbers, availability and ages known). Children and Young people for confirmation should be in their eleventh year (yr6 at school) or Older. The day will be run by Canon Philip Barratt and The Revd Jane Walker.
