The 8th Annual Manchester Duck Race returns this year and is set to be the biggest and best duck race yet!
From Monday 20 March until Friday 7 April, visitors to Manchester Cathedral are invited to decorate a duck and make a £1 donation to Brainwave. All the ducks decorated will be entered into the race on Good Friday with the chance to win a host of great prizes just in time for Easter.
Brainwave is an incredible charity, who strive to help children with disabilities and additional needs to achieve greater independence by aiming to improve mobility, communication skills and learning potential through a range of educational and physical therapies. The children they work with have a range of conditions including, autism, brain injuries such as cerebral palsy and genetic disorders such as Down’s syndrome.
