Elisabeth Quick to represent Manchester Cathedral at Diamond Fund Concert

Nation's choristers will swell the sound of music in St Paul's

To help raise funds to ensure that the nation's world-renowned cathedral music is preserved for the future, the Friends of Cathedral Music (FCM) is kick-starting a £10m fund with a national concert at St Paul's Cathedral where the resident choir will be joined by a cathedral chorister from the majority of the nation's cathedrals, some 60 in all.

Elisabeth Quick will represent Manchester Cathedral.

Christopher Stokes, Organist and Master of the Choristers said:

"“I am delighted that Lizzy will be taking part in this very important concert which will launch the Diamond Fund for choristers, which marks the Diamond Jubilee of the Friends of Cathedral Music. The good works that the FCM do to support our wonderful cathedral choral heritage in this country is inestimable; it is a great privilege to support this venture.”
