Prayers for World Peace, to which all are welcome, will be held outside Manchester Cathedral Friday 5 August at 3.30pm.
The interfaith event, part of World Peace Day, will see Dean of Manchester Rogers Govender lead prayers with His Holiness Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj next to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on Cathedral Yard.
The event is organised by the GIEO GITA UK. The organisation’s main objective is to bring together the likeminded people worldwide and to create an environment conducive to religious tolerance, universal brotherhood, and welfare of all.
