From April to November 2013, Manchester Cathedral will be in the care of building contractors whilst we undertake important renovation work. The Education Department are delighted to announce that this will not stop us engaging pupils in exciting learning experiences outside of the classroom.
School groups are invited to come and discover the stories behind the church on their doorstep as we take our trails and workshops on tour to five unique parish churches of the diocese:
St Ann’s, City Centre - Mondays, Easter to November 2013
Ashton Parish Church - Tuesdays and Wednesdays, May 21 to June 18 2013
St Mary’s, Prestwich – Mondays and Tuesdays, June 24 to July 22 2013
Bolton Parish Church - Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - Oct 1 to Oct 22 2013
Rochdale Parish Church – Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Nov 6 to Nov 26 2013
