Manchester Cathedral Choir sing at the Festival of the Sons of the Clergy

On Tuesday 12 May, Manchester Cathedral Choir, directed by Organist and Master of the Choristers, Christopher Stokes, took part in the 361st Festival of The Sons and Friends of the Clergy at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, along with the choirs of St. Paul’s and Portsmouth Cathedrals.

The Sons and Friends of the Clergy is one of the oldest clergy charities and have been supporting the clergy of the Anglican Church and their dependants within the British Isles for over 350 years. The festival service is known for its fine music and was attended by the Lord Mayor and Bishop of London.
