Manchester Cathedral has relaunched Manchester Children’s Choir. Manchester Children’s Choir was founded in 1920s by composer Sir Hamilton Harty, who had the aim to make choral music and singing accessible to all children of Manchester and Salford, regardless of ability or background.

Manchester Children’s Choir will be open to all children between the ages of six and eleven and there will be no fees to be a member. Manchester Cathedral is proud to be an inclusive community and children of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to join.

The Choir will sing a wide range repertoire from Beethoven to The Beatles and everything in between. The choir runs on a Saturday morning from 10am – 11:30am and is free to all members.

No experience needed, just come along and have fun!

Manchester Children's Choir is on summer break; the next session will take place on Saturday 3 September.
