Monday 21 May

Due to preparations taking place for the service on Tuesday 22 May, our regular services will be said by the Dean and clergy team. The building will be closed to the public.

Tuesday 22 May

Due to the National Service of Commemoration for the First Anniversary of the Manchester Attack, Manchester Cathedral will be closed to the public. Our regular services will be said by the Dean and clergy team.

The service will begin at 2.00pm and members of the public will be able to watch the service on a big screen in Cathedral Gardens. The service will also be screened live to York Minster, Glasgow Cathedral and Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

Manchester Cathedral will reopen at 6pm for members of the public to light a candle and have quiet time. There will be a one minute silence at 10.31pm.
