Manchester Cathedral’s underfloor heating project was highly commended in the Interiors section of the Stone Federation Natural Stone Awards 2014. The judges commended the imaginative use of the contrasting stones, all taken from the same quarry, alongside the technical challenges of the job i.e. archaeology, grade 1 listed building, full underfloor heating, and the very tight timescale.
The event saw hundreds of architects, designers, clients, contractors and natural stone professionals gather to celebrate the best and brightest natural stone projects and the teams behind them.
