Prayers for Peace in Gaza and Israel

Religious organisations around the country and indeed the world have been praying for an end to the violence in Gaza and Israel over the past few weeks. A special prayer corner with an opportunity to light a candle will be open to members of the public at Manchester Cathedral and St Ann’s Church in the city centre from Friday this week. The public is also encouraged to pray for community relations in our city region as we seek to encourage a spirit of unity in the midst of the horrific events in the Middle East over these past few weeks. The Cathedral is open from 9.00am until 5.00pm each day for prayer. St Ann’s is open from 10am on weekdays.
