Manchester Cathedral were honoured to host Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who visited on September 15.
The Royals visited as part of the national period of mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and were met by crowds of well wishers outside the Cathedral. Earlier in the day they visited Manchester Central Library and St Ann’s Square.
While in the Cathedral they read our books of condolence, lit candles in honour of the late Queen and viewed photographs of the Queen's visit to the Cathedral in 2021.
