A new shop specialising in rare vintage streetwear has opened in Manchester Cathedral Visitor Centre.
After massive success online, The Streetwear Studio has now opened their first shop on Cateaton Street in Manchester city centre.
The store specialises in one-off rare streetwear curated by owner Ben Pollin, who handpicks every item to ensure its quality and authenticity.
In the store you’ll find streetwear brands such as Patagonia, Adidas, Stone Island, Carhartt as well vintage football shirts and high-end labels such as Prada, Gucci and Christian Dior.
Ben said: “I just love fashion and I put everything I have back into the stock in my shop. Finding new items is a joy for me and I see that joy reflected in our customers. You never know what you are going to find rooting through the rails.
“The pieces have character, they are unique and we have things that you probably won’t see again as they are one off finds.”
Streetwear operates a buy, sell, trade model meaning not only can you buy one off pieces, but you can also trade in quality pieces for money off your purchase or ask Ben if he wants to buy them outright.
Ben Continues: “The business is eco-friendly and it’s built around a sustainable business model. It’s not just fast fashion that’s going to fall apart after two washes. These are classic pieces to invest in that will last.”
