World Mental Health Day Interfaith Service - October 6

Join us for our annual interfaith service as we mark World Mental Health Day 2022.

Thursday 6 October

Theme for 2022: Mental health in an unequal world. The service celebrates the challenges that individuals of faith have had to face and overcome in a world of disparity.

Keynote speaker – Charles Kwaku - Odoi.

In commemorating mental health on or around the 10th October, the annual Interfaith service recognises and promotes the value of faith and culture across Greater Manchester and the vital link that both faith and belief provide in mental well-being.

In bringing together faith communities alongside health and social care agencies, we seek to foster cohesion, understanding and solidarity, enabling health and social care agencies to work together with faith communities to improve the mental well-being of all people across Greater Manchester.

Every year the service attracts greater participants from both the faith communities and the health and social agencies.

Doors and stalls open from 6.30pm

The service starts at 7pm.

Service finishes by 8.30pm.

Food and refreshments served.
